Dutch duo Roul and Doors’ Defected debut come in the form of double A-side ‘Trinidad / Assiduity’. The former has one of the most instantly catchy hooks heard in house music this year, with more than a touch of DJ Gregory about the proceedings. The latter is the tougher of the two tracks, with an intensively catchy hook that works its way steadily through filters and effects, eventually coming into full force alongside by big drums, soaring melodies and plenty of swirling white noise.
